Melting Moments

This is a very rich cookie that's easy to make and is great for entertaining...They literally melt in your mouth! Natalie used these delectable cookies in her 5th grade "Wax Museum," in which she portrayed Dolly Madison.

Cookies:

1/2 lb. butter
1/3 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. corn starch
1 c. flour

Cream butter; add sugar; add cornstarch; add flour. Roll dough into balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min. or until lightly browned. Cool.

Frosting:

3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together 'til light and fluffy. Add food coloring, if desired. Frost cooled cookies.
