Lemonade Cake

I made this at Richard's request for his 19th birthday. It is especially good with berry flavored lemonade...

Cake:

1 white cake mix
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 c. frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (I used Raspberry Lemonade)

Mix well. Bake according to directions on cake mix box.


Frosting:

1 cube butter, softened
5/8 c. (1/2 c. + 1/8 c.) Crisco shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
1/4 c. milk
Approximately 4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. powdered lemonade mix--more or less, according to taste (I used Strawberry Lemonade)

Add food coloring, if desired. Mix until fluffy.
