Four Layer Pie

Crust:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Layer 2:

1 c. powdered sugar
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. Cool Whip

Layer 3:

1 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding (can use other flavors--lemon is great)
1 3/4 c. milk

Layer 4:

Cool Whip and grated chocolate

Mix flour, butter, and pecans. Press into the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees until BARELY starting to turn golden. Cool crust. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and 1 c. Cool Whip. Spread on top of crust. Mix pudding and milk together for 2 min. Spread pudding on top of cream cheese mixture. Top with thin layer of Cool Whip. Can top with grated chocolate, if desired.
